Tadashi Unveils Genre-Bending with New EP hedonism

Emerging hyperpop artist Tadashi, the musical alias of 21-year-old Japanese-American Dieter Frank, is making waves with his latest release, hedonism. Based in Buffalo, NY—a city known for its burgeoning hip-hop scene—Tadashi’s unique sonic identity bridges hyperpop, melodic hip-hop, and acoustic pop, creating a sound that is as diverse as it is deeply personal. hedonism, Tadashi’s 6-song project, is a testament to his growth as an artist and producer. The EP’s title serves as both a theme and a confession, reflecting the impulsive, indulgent lifestyle that shapes his creative process. In Tadashi's own words: "I chose the name hedonism because that's how I live my life and how I approach making music. It's one of my biggest flaws, but I can never delay any sort of gratification. I do things that are bad for myself long-term but feel good in the moment, and that is something I explore a lot in the tracks, especially ‘crash’ and ‘sick of you.’”
